Permanent, full time (35 hours per week)

Salary Range: £36,900 - £40,850 (including Inner London Weighting) per annum depending on experience/performance.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced coordinator wishing to develop their career in the creative industries and/or the higher education sector to join the Open Programmes team within Innovation. Open Programmes includes short courses, summer schools, bespoke courses, and professional development events at Guildhall School. The aim is to open up the conservatoire experience to a broader audience, making our resources and expertise accessible.

Our programmes attract between 1,000 and 1,500 participants annually across various disciplines including Drama, Music, Production Arts, Skills for the Creative Industries, and other Art Forms. They are open to diverse ages and levels, and we pride ourselves on delivering a unique and enjoyable experience with excellent teaching.

As Open Programmes Coordinator, you will support our expanding lifelong learning initiatives, engaging participants from all backgrounds. Your responsibilities include supporting the planning, preparation, and delivery of the annual programme, managing event logistics, providing financial administration and budget support, marketing support, and evaluating projects. You will also have opportunities to participate in research and development activities and stakeholder engagement.

We seek a resourceful, motivated individual with an efficient, positive, and proactive approach, strong organizational and administrative skills, and significant experience in event coordination. The ideal candidate can manage multiple deadlines and workloads, build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality customer service. Knowledge of or interest in performing arts and higher education is desirable.
