Responsibilities
- Ability to navigate a ticketing system to obtain assigned workload for the day.
- Ability to follow instructions within assigned tickets and according to documented processes.
- Update ticketing system regularly with build progress, delays, and asset assignments as per documented process.
- Configure endpoints according to documented processes for onboarding and replacement requests.
- Review all completed builds per quality control process to ensure the build matches expected outcome.
- Collect equipment for offboarding and legacy replacement returns.
- Receive new equipment from vendors.
- Process equipment (assets and peripherals) into asset management system.
- Identify if equipment already exists in asset management system.
- Perform "shell check" to determine if warranty repair is required.
- Coordinate necessary warranty repairs with appropriate manufacturer.
- Add/update status of equipment in asset management system.
- Enforce best inventory management practices.
- Ensure all equipment is labeled and stocked properly.
- Ensure all equipment can be easily located.
- Coordinate all incoming/outgoing equipment moves to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Perform routine cycle counts of available inventory.
- Perform wall to wall inventory audits as needed.
- Identify and correct inventory record mismatches.
- Assist and backup Onsite Support Technicians as needed.
Skills, Education, & Experience
- High school diploma - some college a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience with asset management a plus.
- Previous experience in a hardware repair depot/on-site support role a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills - ability to communicate clearly with end users.
- Strong written communication skills - ability to provide clear and concise updates to tickets in a professional tone.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite, specifically Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to understand and follow process documentation.
- Strong attention to detail.
