Job Title: Online Peer Review Systems Specialist Salary: £26,600 - £32,600 Location: Cambridge, UK - Hybrid Contract: Fixed term (12 months), Full Time (35 hours per week) A chance to work for a world leader in academic publishing, optimising its peer review systems, improving user experiences, and helping to deliver high-quality content. The role involves configuring and implementing new systems and workflows, supporting strategic initiatives to assure the quality of the content we publish and services we provide, and providing world class technical support and guidance to users. About the role You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining our peer review systems, driving the successful delivery of new sites, workflows, and initiatives for our journals and publishing partners. Your work will directly impact millions of learners, academics, and researchers worldwide, helping us unlock potential and make a difference every day. In this role, you will: - Configure and implement peer review systems, in consultation with journal stakeholders. - Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation. - Manage peer review system transitions between publishers, ensuring seamless user experiences for our partners and customers. - Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external users. - Participate in strategic projects, deploying agreed changes and services across our sites, and continuously seeking new ways to improve. About you As our Systems Specialist, you will be part of an innovative and collaborative team that is always driving change and exploring new ways to serve our global community. You are enthusiastic, well-organised, and motivated to continuously learn and develop your skills. You will need experience in journal publishing to hit the ground running, and experience with peer review systems such as ScholarOne and/or Editorial Manager would be highly desirable. You should possess strong accuracy and attention to detail, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines and priorities.
