Location: East Kilbride Store, 3 Kingsgate Retail Park, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, G74 4UN
Rate: £13.23 per hour
Hours: Full time, 36.4 hours per week
What you'll be doing- Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor, ready for delivery to online customers.
- Using a handset to plan your route and manage time to complete each shop.
- Processing customer queries, processing orders, and helping to load vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
- Serving customers, supporting with questions, and proactively offering help.
- Building knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
- Working flexibly across the store as required.
- Minimum age above school leaver age in your country.
- At least 18 years old if shifts cover hours earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm.
- Right to work eligibility in the UK.
- Happy with early morning starts (shift starts at 4 am). Able to work in a fast paced, physical, high energy environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly and welcoming with genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
- Enjoys solving problems, using initiative and taking responsibility for own tasks.
- Ready to work flexibly and productively to a high standard across the store.
- Comfortable with digital tools and technology to do the job brilliantly and capable of moving shopping containers up to 15 kg.
- Attention to detail, keeping the store clean and clutter free, and creating the best shopping experience for customers.
- Nightshift premium - an additional £2.45 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 5 am.
- Discount card - 10 % off at Sainsbury's, Argos, Tu and Habitat after four weeks, 15 % off on Fridays and Saturdays, and 15 % off at Argos on payday.
