Job Title: Oncology Healthcare Center Nurse

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £43,700 + fully expensed company car and fuel card

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

The Role

As an Oncology Healthcare Center Nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients through their treatment journey-providing high quality clinical care via mobile units or local clinics in your area.

  • Administering IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies
  • Carrying out blood draws, toxicity assessments, and cannulation
  • Managing central lines, pump disconnections, and injections (IM/SC)
  • Delivering safe, compassionate care in line with clinical protocols
  • Supporting the day to day running of clinics and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

About You
  • Hold a valid NMC PIN
  • Have experience in Oncology nursing
  • Hold a recognised Oncology qualification, SACT passport, or equivalent in house training
  • Be competent in venepuncture and cannulation
  • Have experience administering Systemic Anti Cancer Therapy (SACT) across multiple routes
  • Demonstrate a high level of care, empathy and professionalism
  • Be confident working independently while managing your own caseload
