Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected printing company, known for delivering high-quality print solutions to a diverse client base.

Due to continued growth and increased production demand, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Temporary Offset Lithographic Printer to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, fast-paced manufacturing environment, using well-maintained equipment and supporting a strong pipeline of work.

The Role

As an Offset Lithographic Printer, you will be responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of offset litho presses, ensuring all work is produced to the highest quality standards while meeting production targets and deadlines.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and running offset lithographic printing presses
  • Producing high-quality print work for packaging and commercial products
  • Achieving accurate colour matching, registration, and print consistency
  • Monitoring print quality throughout production runs and making adjustments as required
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and basic fault-finding on press machinery
  • Working closely with pre-press, finishing, and quality teams
  • Adhering to all health & safety and quality control procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment
The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in offset lithographic printing within a commercial or packaging environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience operating offset litho presses (sheet fed or web)
  • Strong knowledge of inks, substrates, colour control, and print standards
  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • A proactive and problem solving mindset
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Experience within printing or packaging is highly desirable.
