We are seeking an Office Manager to join the Eating Disorders service on a full time basis. You will be based within the CAMHS Eating Disorders Service at Raglan House in Oxford and will be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient admin support to the clinical teams and admin staff. The role is integral to ensuring the service is well organised, compliant with processes and operationally effective. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced and dynamic service. It will suit an individual who is adaptable, highly organised and motivated by contributing to service improvement.

The Office Manager will work closely with the Team Manager to support the ongoing development of the service and administrative systems, as well as overseeing the smooth and effective running of the Raglan House reception.
The role offers a range of learning and development opportunities, including involvement in service development projects and initiatives. The post holder will also have the opportunity to build professional networks across the Directorate, gaining a broader understanding of how mental health services are delivered across Oxfordshire.
Main duties of the job- Responsible for the day to day management of the Eating Disorder administration and reception team.
- Responsible for supporting the Eating Disorder Team with operational and administrative matters where required.
- Maintain an administrative system for referrals/ discharges to and from the service.
- Act as a point of contact to queries and calls.
- Liaise with patients and families, GPs, other agencies and professionals as appropriate. Develop working relationships with other agencies and referrers to improve the accessibility of the service to patients and families.
- Produce notes of meetings, set up meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure that a bring forward system of paperwork is maintained so that correspondence/information is available for meetings.
- Degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Systems.
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
- Organisational skills, managing diary systems and tracking information.
- Understanding of the Data Protection Act.
- Experience of creating and managing spreadsheets and large quantities of information and data collection systems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience of dealing with complex and challenging situations.
- Understanding of mental health issues.
- Experience of managing staff.
- Experience of managing finance at a team level.
