Position Summary:
The Office & Logistics Support role oversees all transport operations for importing and exporting goods world wide, ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures. This position coordinates shipments of all sizes, working closely with internal teams, international offices, and external logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Key responsibilities include aligning shipment schedules with production plans, managing shipping documentation, tracking performance, and resolving delays. The role is vital in maintaining efficient logistics operations and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Position duties and responsibilities:
- Manage all transport operations related to the import and export of goods, ensuring full compliance with regulations and company protocols.
- Oversee and track both small and large shipments, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Collaborate with the production team to align shipment planning with production schedules and capacity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international offices regarding shipping requirements, documentation, and delivery timelines.
- Communicate with shipment companies and freight forwarders, ensuring clear instructions, prompt dispatch, and continuous updates.
- Maintain thorough records of shipments, including customs documents, invoices, and shipping schedules.
- Monitor transport performance, address any delivery delays, and recommend improvements for logistics efficiency.
- Archiving of all related shipment documents.
Qualification and requirements:
- Basic knowledge of shipping and import/export processes
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Organized and comfortable with multitasking and time pressure.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, email)
