Matrix Recruitment is partnering with a fast growing company for aOffice Administatorrole based in Waterford. In this full-time, permanent position, you'll join a small and supportive team. Your focus will be on general administration, communicating with customers and suppliers, and keeping everything organised to high quality standards. You'll work daily with several departments, suppliers, and be at the heart of ensuring the business runs smoothly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Place, code, and price purchase orders accurately
- Handle invoice approval and data entry
- Proactively track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor deliveries and follow up on outstanding items
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather updates and progress
- Communicate with external suppliers as needed
- Ensure all purchases meet correct quality guidelines
- Maintain precise records and general admin
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative roles
- Engineering background would be an advantage
- Relevant IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience using MRP or ERP systems (preferred)
- Confident communicator and detail-oriented
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting
