  • Passion for the Transition: A genuine, demonstrable interest in renewable energy and the shift to a net zero economy.
  • Proactive Attitude: We are a fast paced "scale up" within a large company; you need to be a self starter who is happy to dive into new tasks with curiosity.
  • Strong Communication: The ability to present your findings clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Geography/Sustainability), though we care more about your mindset than your specific major.
  • Attention to Detail: In investments, the small things matter-you take pride in the accuracy of your work.
Desired but not Essential Skills
  • Prior Excel Experience: Familiarity with basic financial functions (e.g., DCF, NPV) or a desire to become an Excel wizard quickly.
  • Commercial Awareness: An understanding of current affairs in the energy sector or broader financial markets.
What you'll gain:
  • Hands on Transaction Experience: You won't just be observing, but a core part of a deal team, gaining insight into how energy infrastructure investments are structured and closed.
  • Technical Financial Skills: Develop your proficiency in Excel and financial valuation techniques specifically tailored to infrastructure and renewable energy.
  • Energy Sector Expertise: Gain a front row seat to the global energy transition, learning the nuances of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and low carbon technologies.
  • Exposure to Leadership: Work in a flat hierarchy where you'll regularly interact with and learn from senior investment professionals and industry experts.
  • Impactful Work: The chance to contribute to real world projects that are actively decarbonizing the energy system and fighting climate change.
