Job Description

I'm supporting a leading quantitative technology firm that's looking for an experienced Observability Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team.

This is a hands-on role focused on building large-scale telemetry platforms, improving Kubernetes observability, and shaping the future of OpenTelemetry across a highly technical engineering environment.

The role
  • Build scalable telemetry pipelines
  • Develop OpenTelemetry collectors, SDKs and exporters
  • Improve Kubernetes observability and resilience
  • Work closely with Platform Engineering teams to drive automation and reliability
What we're looking for
  • OpenTelemetry
  • Kubernetes
  • AWS
  • Datadog, New Relic or Dynatrace
  • Terraform, Helm or ArgoCD
  • Go or Python
  • SRE or Platform Engineering background
