Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager (Nursing)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Full-Time Permanent

Responsibilities

• Full management of a nursing home including clinical, operational, and commercial performance
• Leadership and development of nursing, care, and support teams
• Oversight of nursing care and clinical care delivery
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high inspection ratings
• Drive quality, safety, and person-centred care standards
• Manage staffing levels, budgets, occupancy, and financial performance
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals

Essential Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Care Home Manager within a nursing home (essential)
• Strong knowledge of nursing and clinical care delivery
• Experience managing CQC-regulated services
• Confident leader with excellent people management skills
• Ability to drive quality improvement and positive inspection outcomes

Qualifications (Preferred but Not Essential)

• Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
• Active NMC PIN

Candidates without nursing qualifications will still be considered if they have demonstrable nursing home management experience and clinical knowledge.
