We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable Nursery Assistant to join our Early Years team and help create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for young children.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about childcare and early childhood development, and who enjoys supporting children as they learn, play, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily care and supervision of children within the nursery setting
• Assist with planning and delivering fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development through play
• Support meal times, toileting, and personal care routines where required
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety, and safeguarding standards
• Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or within a nursery setting preferred
• Understanding of the EYFS framework is desirable
• Caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to use initiative and remain calm in a busy environment
• Relevant childcare qualification desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
