Job Description

Based in Hove, our clients are looking for an experienced room leader to take responsibility for a room within a high-quality early years setting, working 40 hour week with a salary up to £34,979 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a room in a nursery or early years setting.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Promote best practice and maintain a safe, nurturing environment across the nursery setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Minimum 1 year's experience leading a room in a nursery or early years setting.
• Knowledge of child development, EYFS and safeguarding.
• Strong team leader, able to motivate and support staff in your room.
• Passionate about early years and children's development within a nursery setting.
• Proactive, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards.
