Nursery Practitioner

We are looking to recruit a qualified Nursery Practitioner or an apprentice with childcare experience to join our dedicated team. Candidates must have a caring nature. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and education is maintained, whilst meeting children's individual needs. Qualified applicants should have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and child development.

Nursery Practitioner Requirements:

• Level 3 or above
• Knowledge of child development principles and practices
• To act as a key worker to a group of children
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Help to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Supervise and engage children in play and learning experiences
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents and staff
• Maintain cleanliness and Health and Safety procedures
• To work alongside the manager and staff team.
