Nursery Practitioner - Baby Room

Location: St John's Wood, City of Westminster, London (NW8)

Hours: Part-Time (30 hours/week) with Full-Time potential for the right candidate

Salary: £12.90 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Marylebone Services is delighted to recruit on behalf of a beautiful, independent nursery setting in the heart of St John's Wood. This close-knit school family takes immense pride in creating a child-led learning environment reflective of contemporary pedagogies and philosophies, such as the Curiosity Approach.

The Shift Pattern (30 Hours/Week):

• Monday & Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm (includes a 1-hour lunch break)
• Tuesday & Wednesday: Afternoon shifts

Your Role

• Provide high-quality care in our dedicated Baby Room.
• Support child-led learning and active participation.
• Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Work collaboratively with a loving, supportive team.

What We Are Looking For

• Level 3 preferred (experienced Level 2 qualified candidates considered).
• Proven experience working directly with children under 2 years old in a nursery setting in the UK.
• Warm, caring, patient, and eager to learn and develop.
• Right to Work in the UK
• 6 to 7 weeks of paid holiday per year. Includes fixed closures over Christmas (2 weeks), Easter (2 weeks), and Summer (3 weeks).
• Fully paid training and CPD-certified courses.
• Excellent transport links close to the train station and High Street, plus a rare on-site parking space.
• Access to a comfortable, modern staff relaxation area.
