Nursery Nurse - Primary School in Harrow Immediate Start

Are you a dedicated and nurturing early years practitioner looking to support young children at the very start of their educational journey?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact during one of the most important stages in a child's development.

Role Summary

  • Position: Nursery Nurse
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Location: Harrow, North West London
  • Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term or permanent
  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (a degree in Early Childhood Education is desirable)

Nursery Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5
  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Observe and monitor children's progress, keeping clear and accurate records
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive early years provision

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

  • A Level 3 childcare qualification (or higher)
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
  • A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
