Job Description:

This role involves inspiring and leading our staff to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring each child receives the best start in life.

  • Lead, motivate, and support nursery staff;
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment;
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff training;
  • Oversee staff performance and professional development;
  • Ensure effective communication and a team-oriented culture;
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children;
  • Oversee curriculum planning and delivery tailored to individual needs;
  • Monitor and support children's development;
  • Promote wellbeing, safety, and emotional development;
  • Ensure safeguarding policies are followed;
  • Manage the nursery's budget and resources;
  • Oversee daily operations and regulatory compliance;
  • Ensure the nursery is well-equipped and resourced.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 childcare qualification recognized by the DfE;
  • Good understanding of the EYFS;
  • Excellent spoken and written English;
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices;
  • Previous experience in early years childcare;
  • Cleared DBS check;
  • Ability to extend children's learning through quality activities;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Commitment to reflective practice and self-development.
