Nursery Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager to lead a well-established, year-round nursery caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

This is an exciting opportunity to take full responsibility for a thriving setting and drive high standards of early years education and care.

About the Nursery

• Open all year round (closed 1 week at Christmas)
• Caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years
• Strong focus on high-quality early education and development
• Supportive and collaborative team environment
• Flexible hours- 40 hours a week

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding standards
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
• Maintain and improve quality of care and education
• Manage staffing, occupancy, and overall performance

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements
• Confident leadership and team management skills
• Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance
