Job Description

As a Nursery Manager at BY Creche, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our nursery, creating a warm and nurturing environment where children thrive. You'll inspire and support a dedicated team, oversee safeguarding efforts, and ensure that all practices meet statutory requirements and uphold Werton Group's high standards.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage all aspects of nursery operations.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for children, staff, and families.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS guidelines and Ofsted standards.
  • Serve as the designated safeguarding lead.
  • Oversee curriculum development and quality audits.
  • Manage admissions and provide regular feedback to parents.
  • Support and mentor staff, identifying training and development needs.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: At least 3 years supervising or managing in an early years setting.
  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification. If unqualified, previous childcare experience is required with a drive to build your career in Early Years.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery compliance requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
