Nursery Manager - Busy Bees Heworth, York!
Hours: Full Time, 40hrs per week

About The Role
At Busy Bees Heworth, you'll lead a vibrant nursery rated "Good" by Ofsted, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere for up to 45 children. Set in a charming redbrick building with cosy learning rooms and a secure outdoor playground, our nursery is the perfect environment for little minds to thrive-and for your career to grow.
As Our Nursery Manager, You Will
- Champion the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Inspire your team to deliver high-quality care and education
- Build strong partnerships with families and the local community
- Lead daily operations with confidence and compassion
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
- At least 2 years' experience in a leadership role within an early years setting
- Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding best practices

- We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Nursery Manager whose primary goal is to deliver the highest standards of childcare and early years education.
- You will be resourceful, commercially minded, have strong leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
- You will have strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, or NVQ Level 3.
- Experience as a Nursery Manager or Assistant Nursery Manager.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A focus on delivering high-quality childcare and early education.
