Nursery Manager (Oxfordshire)

Salary: Up to £55,000 per year (DOE) Hours: 40 hours per week Setting: 125+ children 50+ staff

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee daily operations
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a large team of 50 staff
  • Ensure outstanding EYFS provision across multiple rooms
  • Maintain safeguarding, compliance, and Ofsted standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality and staff practice
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development
  • Build strong relationships with parents and stakeholders
  • Manage curriculum planning, budgets, and resources
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
Requirements
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential)
  • Proven experience managing large nursery settings
  • Experience leading and developing large teams
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
