Our clients very established Nursery in Watford are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager to work with the manager in the day to day running of this very busy and large setting.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hrs this role is offering a salary is up to £37k depending on experience and qualifications, together with great benefits, onsite parking and on good transport links.

Requirements Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role
  • A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
  • A minimum 3 years' experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting
  • Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
  • Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the settingBuild positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
