Job DescriptionAbout our Clients
Between Chertsey and Woking, our clients very established Nursery are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager for a room based role. You will need to have experience of supporting and leading teams within a Nursery setting. Initially this is a Maternity Cover role.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hrs this role is offering a salary c£35k plus with great benefits, onsite parking and on good transport links.
Requirements What are Clients are looking for Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role- A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
- A minimum 3 years' experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting.
- Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices.
- Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting.
- Passionate about early years education and children's development within a nursery setting.
- Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team.
- Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards across the setting.
- Promotes best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery supporting the team on a daily basis.
