Job DescriptionAbout our Clients
Between Chertsey and Woking, our clients very established Nursery are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager for a room based role. You will need to have experience of supporting and leading teams within a Nursery setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hrs this role is offering a salary c £35k plus with great benefits, onsite parking and on good transport links. Initally a Mat Cover role.
RequirementsWhat are Clients are looking for
Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role
A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
A minimum 3 years' experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting
Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
Ideal Nursery Deputy Manager Candidate
Passionate about early years education and children's development within a nursery setting
Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team
Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards across the setting
Promotes best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery supporting the team on a daily basis
