About The Role

Location: Caterham, Surrey, CR3 5UL

Hours: Monday - Friday 18:00 - 22:00

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Atlas FM are hiring! We're looking for a reliable and detail focused cleaner to join our team at a nursery setting. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to make a positive impact in a childcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe environment in a nursery setting; receive full training, including on-site induction and support to understand the cleaning specification and safeguarding expectations.
  • General cleaning duties including wiping, mopping, hoovering, and dusting.
  • Follow site specific cleaning and audit processes.
  • Ensure cleaning standards meet health and safety requirements.
  • Report any issues promptly to support clear communication.
  • Respect site rules, including mobile phone use and key handling procedures.
  • Supporting a safe environment for children and staff by following safeguarding protocols.
Eligibility & Requirements
  • Friendly, trustworthy and professional.
  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work.
  • Able to follow safeguarding requirements and site procedures.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) dated within the last 3 years or willingness to complete one.
  • Able to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
  • Confident with basic spoken English for safety and communication.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Two satisfactory references are required as part of the recruitment process for this role.
