Hi, I'm Zareena, the Nursery Manager at Edgbaston.

With 23 years of experience working with children and families-and 13 of those as part of the incredible Edgbaston team-I feel truly honoured to lead such a passionate and dedicated group of Early Years Educators. Together, we create a nurturing and inspiring space where our children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

At Edgbaston, we champion curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Our experienced team recognises that every child is unique, which is why we tailor learning experiences to meet each child's individual pace, interests, and needs-fostering confidence and independence from the very beginning.

What truly sets us apart is our Hygge accreditation-a Danish-inspired philosophy that emphasises warmth, well-being, and a calm, cosy atmosphere. This means our children enjoy a truly home from home setting, where they can explore, play, and grow in comfort and security.

We're also proud to be family focused. Our parent reception area is a welcoming space where families can relax, grab a coffee, hot chocolate, or a piece of fruit from our snack bar, and enjoy a gentle start to the day.
