An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Nurse (RMNH, RGN, RNLD) to join our busy team in Community rehab ( Aonach Mor)
Community rehab is a 14 bedded mixed sex Unit providing assessment for Mental health patients based within Community rehabilitation
The successful candidate will be motivated, demonstrate a commitment towards the continued development of patient focused care whilst fostering a therapeutic ward environment.
This position would suit those who wish to extend and develop their leadership skills and be part of an evolving service that recognises the diverse and complex needs of the person and their carers.
The candidate will be required to be able to undertake duties without direct supervision, supporting and supervising work undertaken by registered and unregistered nursing staff as well as taking charge in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse.
The role will also be responsible for proactively promoting partnership working with patients, carers and other professionals/ agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and clinical policies.
Supervising the practice of others, undertaking mentorship/ preceptorship responsibilities and supporting the Senior Charge Nurse to ongoing learning and development of the staff team are important aspects of this role.
The successful candidate would be an RMNH/RGN/RNLD registered with the NMC in the UK.
You will be able to demonstrate strong values, with good communication & team-working skills. An active interest in Community rehabilitation and mental health would be advantageous.
