Job Description
Support Manager Acute Division of Surgery Band 6, 37 hours per week

We are looking for a bright, motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic Unit Support Manager to work across our services.

The post holder will work in conjunction with the Unit Operational Manager, Access Team, Service Manager, Clinical Leads and Unit Nurse Manager in the operational and strategic management of the Unit.

The post holder will join a dynamic and friendly team playing a leading role in the delivery of national waiting times guarantees along with providing support to the various services within the Unit.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
