An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Governance Officer working within the Information Governance Team.
This post will support the Information Governance Team to deliver an essential service to the whole of NHS Grampian.
The post holder will work with the Senior Information Governance Manager and Information Governance Team to help implement and monitor the Health Board's information governance programme. The post holder will play a key role in supporting the organisation's obligation to respond to a variety of access to information requests made under information rights legislation and support in the delivery of statutory assurance work.
NHS Grampian seeks a highly motivated candidate with excellent organisational skills. They will be educated to degree level in Records Management, Information Management, law or other relevant qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. The successful candidate is likely to be an effective communicator with a record of supporting information rights requests and the information governance requirements around organisational change.
