You will work as part of a busy and collaborative team handling a varied caseload of defence insurance matters, with supervision and mentoring from experienced practitioners. Typical work will include:
- Managing your own caseload of pre-litigated and litigated defence files
- Assisting on higher-value and more complex claims
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and court documents
- Liaising with insurers, experts, counsel, and other stakeholders
- Progressing claims efficiently in line with client service standards
- Qualified Solicitor in NI - NQ level
- Strong technical skills and sound commercial judgement
- Excellent communication and drafting abilities
- Clear development and progression pathway
