About the Role

You will manage your own caseload under supervision, handling a range of legal aid immigration matters. This role offers hands on experience across applications, appeals, and tribunal hearings, while providing guidance and support to junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle legal aid immigration cases from instruction to completion
  • Prepare for hearings and represent clients in tribunals
  • Draft and review legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaise with clients, barristers, and other professionals
  • Conduct research to support case strategy
  • Support a collaborative team environment and learn from experienced colleagues
Skills & Qualifications
  • Newly Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland
  • Experience handling legal aid immigration matters
  • Strong legal knowledge and client care skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Committed to providing high quality, accessible legal advice
