Overview

JOB TITLE: New Product Introduction Manager / NPI Manager

The COMPANY: Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation specialising in the Yellow Construction Industry (diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc.). They offer a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending, fabrication, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Support continued growth by developing and introducing new products, ensuring PPAP approved parts are produced to customer specifications.
• Feasibility reviews to identify improvements and determine the best manufacturing methods.
• Design and develop tooling.
• CMM measurement and PPAP documentation.
• Full visual inspection of samples, including weld and paint approval.
• Support customers with product-related manufacturing design queries.
• Assist with the development, measurement, and approval of prototypes.

Candidate

• Enthusiastic and dynamic NPI Engineer with the ambition to build a career in a growing engineering company.
• Engineering and fabrication background.
• Ability to read detailed engineering drawings.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Experience operating CMM measuring devices.
• CAD skills would be useful.
• Ideally experience on APQP/PPAP projects.

Location: Suffolk. Commutable from Newmarket, Mildenhall, Cambridge, Ely, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Thetford, Haverhill, Lakenheath, Stowmarket, Long Melford, Saffron Walden, Huntingdon, Needham Market.
