What you will do:

• Deliver safe and effective independent prescribing, including opiate substitute treatment (OST), alcohol detoxification, and relapse prevention programmes.
• Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, risk assessments and develop personalised, recovery-focused prescribing plans.
• Monitor and review treatment outcomes, adjusting prescribing interventions in line with clinical need and service protocols.
• Provide Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening, vaccinations, and physical health interventions as part of holistic care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team colleagues, including recovery workers, mental health services, and social care to ensure integrated care pathways.

Person Specification: Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult/Mental Health) or Pharmacist with relevant qualifications.
• Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent).
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and revalidation.

Registration & Compliance:

• Current registration with NMC or GPhC.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Controlled Drugs legislation and NICE guidance.
• Understanding of safeguarding frameworks, Mental Capacity Act, and CQC standards.
