Non Food Manager

As a Non Food Manager at Asda, you will oversee the day to day operations of the George and GM departments, ensuring optimal product availability, high shop floor standards, and a safe, compliant environment for customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shop floor, meeting key metrics and KRAs.
• Deliver outstanding availability standards and lead initiatives for seasonal events and in store theatre.
• Engage and coach the team to continually improve routines and processes, fostering a culture of customer service excellence.
• Ensure shop floor and promotional activity is delivered on time, labelled and displayed to maximize sell through.
• Develop talent, promote resilience and ownership, and support team members to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of non food departments.
• Experience improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Proven ability to develop teams and manage change through leadership and resilience.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
