NIGHT Senior Care Assistant - Female only

We are looking for a kind and caring Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly and established team at our Dovehaven Rest Home, Albert Road, Southport. The role involves 3x 12 hour night shifts (8 pm 8 am) on a rota basis, with alternate weekend availability required.

Female only applicants are required. This is a genuine occupational requirement because you will be supporting female residents.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care team within the Home and ensure that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines.
• Provide exceptional levels of care to residents.
• Promote and deliver high standards of care and support less experienced staff.
• Oversee and support staff to enable them to fully contribute to care provision.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
• Self motivated, resilient and well organised.
• Team player capable of working independently.
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the Home's needs.
• Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting.
• An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is essential.
