Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 00:00 - 07:30
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (33% shift allowance for hours worked between 00:00 - 06:00)
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour
Job PurposeWe are currently recruiting for a VNA FLT Driver / Goods In Operative to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for ensuring all incoming stock is received, checked, and recorded accurately, and safely transported to the appropriate storage areas. You will also support the preparation of stock for allocation to picking locations, maintaining efficiency and accuracy across all goods-in processes.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve agreed productivity and performance targets
- Complete all replenishment tasks and ensure stock is stored correctly within high-bay reserves
- Adhere strictly to all operational procedures and standards
- Check product descriptions, pack sizes, and quantities for accuracy
- Inspect goods for damage and verify expiry dates
- Accurately count and record stock on relevant systems/paperwork
- Review out-of-stock lists and prioritise replenishment accordingly
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across warehouse areas
- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
- Uphold company security protocols, including managing delivery driver access
- Escalate any issues or queries to the Department Manager or Team Leader
- Carry out any reasonable requests from management to support operational needs
- Previous experience operating a VNA Forklift Truck
- High level of visual accuracy and attention to detail
- Good verbal and basic written communication skills
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong customer care awareness
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
