Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our customers experience the difference in every visit, providing the Partner led service and passion for food that our competitors can't compete with.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place at the right time.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver directly to their doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns for items approaching sell by dates.
• Supporting the wider shop team - checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders and fulfilling on demand customer orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shop keeping tasks.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the whole branch.

Pay, Hours & Location

• Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days) with a night premium of £3.75 per hour for work between 22:00 - 06:00.
• Hours: 18 hours of part time work across seven days, including weekends.
• Location: Willerby (Waitrose & Partners), Beverley Road, Willerby, North Yorkshire, HU10 6EB.
• Position type: Temporary.
