Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the role

As a Supermarket Assistant at Waitrose you will help ensure our customers experience the partner led service and passion for food that sets us apart. You will support our brand by providing exceptional service and keeping the store operating efficiently.

Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - keep shelves fully stocked and products in the right place.
• Fulfilling online customer orders to be delivered by drivers directly to customers' doors.
• Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and applying markdowns to items approaching sell by dates.
• Assist wider shop team with checkout support, Click & Collect orders, on demand orders and other tasks.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment through general shop keeping tasks.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and team.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Up to date knowledge and interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the whole branch.

Working Hours

Part time - Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 21:00 - 07:00.
