About you as Night Receptionist

  • Previous experience working in a Night Receptionist role is ideal to join our team!
  • Previous Opera / Opera Cloud experience is desirable
  • Hotel/Hospitality experience is desirable but a keen interest in customer service is more important for this role
  • Confidence and motivation for working throughout the night is essential
  • You will have keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident in communicating with the team

Key Responsibilities of the Night Receptionist

  • To assist the Night Manager and all departments when necessary on shift
  • Support early check outs and organise settling bills ensuring payment is taken correctly
  • Assist with room service / cooking light meals from night menu
  • Be familiar with all reservation tasks in order to cover this role if required
  • Record all relevant comments of appreciation, suggestions and maintenance points in order to initiate follow up
  • Be confident with fire training and fire drill practices
  • To communicate with the early Duty Manager on any ongoing encounters in the night
  • Establish a courteous, helpful, and friendly attitude to all guests at all times
