Major Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading international automotive company with a significant presence in Shipley area (Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds).
Our client operates a large factory employing over 700 people and continues to expand across the UK. We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.
Your Role as a Production OperativeAs a Production Operative, youll play a key role in assembling essential components using power tools and detailed engineering drawings. Youll also be involved in operating machinery as part of the production process. This is a physical, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in precision and quality.
Shift Pattern- Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm 6:00am
- Friday: 4:00pm 9:00pm
- 37 hours per week
- Early finish every Friday
- Carrying out basic production duties
- Building and assembling agricultural vehicle components
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Using a variety of power tools
- Reading and working from detailed technical drawings
- Performing basic quality checks
- Working efficiently in a fast-moving production setting
- Collaborating with your team while also being confident working independently
- Experience in production or manufacturing (preferred)
- Confidence using power tools and machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting
- Strong communication skills
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- £14.84 per hour
- Paid breaks (3 breaks per shift, totalling 1 hour)
