Night Porter

We are seeking a dependable and professional PART -TIME Night Porter to join our team. As a Night Porter, you will provide essential overnight guest services, ensuring the hotel remains secure and welcoming throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include managing late check-ins and early check-outs, assisting with any guest queries or requests, and conducting light cleaning or maintenance tasks to uphold hotel standards.

Objectives of this role:

• Serve as the face of the hotel during nighttime hours, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
• Support the smooth operation of overnight tasks and processes
• Ensure the security and safety of the hotel and its guests
• Respond to any guest concerns or issues during the night
• Assist with minor cleaning duties and maintenance to maintain the hotel's presentation

Responsibilities:

• Handle late check-ins and early check-outs
• Ensure the hotel is secure by conducting routine security checks
• Assist guests with any requests such as room service, transportation bookings, or other services
• Communicate with day staff regarding any issues or guest feedback that need to be addressed
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, such as lobbies and entrances, during quiet periods
• Support any other night duties as required by the hotel

Skills and qualifications:

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently during nighttime hours
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high pressure situations
• Problem solving mindset with the initiative to handle guest concerns promptly

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous hospitality or night shift experience
• Knowledge of basic hotel procedures, including check-in/out and security
• Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
