The hotel hosts large events such as weddings and conferences and features a grand ballroom for up to 350 guests. It is also a premier destination for treatments, spa days, and wellness retreats.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Assistance: Greet guests during late hours, assist with check ins and check outs, and provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
  • Security: Maintain a vigilant presence throughout the property, monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards, and respond promptly to any security concerns or emergencies following established protocols.
  • Property Maintenance: Conduct regular patrols to identify and address maintenance issues such as broken fixtures or malfunctioning equipment; take appropriate action to resolve issues or raise them to the relevant department.
  • Room Service: Facilitate room service orders for guests, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy, and coordinate with kitchen and other staff members.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a first responder to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or disruptive behaviour, follow emergency procedures, and liaise with emergency services as necessary to ensure safety.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, including updating guest records, processing payments, and generating reports for management as required.
  • Guest Relations: Foster positive relationships with guests by addressing their needs and concerns in a courteous and professional manner, anticipating their requirements, and striving to exceed expectations whenever possible.
Skills and Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Basic computer proficiency for handling administrative tasks.
  • Physical fitness to perform regular patrols and lift/move heavy objects if required.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
