Responsibilities

• Drive strategy into action: Plan and execute all trading activity on the shop floor during the night shift, ensuring deliveries are dated, waste and returns are managed correctly, and replenishment limits damage.
• Lead with impact: Oversee and coach night colleagues and team leaders to maintain excellent shop floor standards, foster a customer first culture, and aim to increase sales per basket.
• Execution focused: Ensure the shop floor is landed, presentable and ready for customers before handing over to the day team, including maintaining promotion areas, foyer and hot spots.
• Talent development: Listen with empathy, build resilience, encourage ownership and passion for the business, support team development and create a trusted, motivated work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Strong ability to make independent decisions with a hands on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Excellent customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.
