Job Description
Overview 
- The role of Night F & B Chief Steward is to ensure the smooth running of the back of house operations during the night, alongside the Back of House Manager.
- Responsibility for the cleanliness of all cutlery, crockery and the overall upkeep of back of house stock levels, flagging any concerns to the Manager promptly.
- Receiving goods for the back of house area and thoroughly checking them before acceptance.
- Assisting with the training, coaching and development of F&B Stewards during the night, providing feedback to assess training effectiveness.
- Supporting the identification of training needs in the back of house area to give all team members opportunities for development and growth.
- Participating in health and safety audits alongside the Back of House Manager.
- Current supervisory experience in back of house operations at a hotel or similar environment.
- Ability to proactively prioritise business needs to support and drive the back of house team.
- Working knowledge of hotel back of house areas to assist internal and external clients.
- Up to date knowledge of current health and safety procedures and requirements in food and beverage.
- Minimum CIEH Level Two health and safety qualification.
