What you will do

• Provide an assessment service for patients requiring long-term wheelchair use, both manual and powered, in diverse settings.
• Undertake complex assessments encompassing postural, pressure care, and seating needs in relation to wheelchair mobility, utilizing a person-centred approach and problem-solving skills.
• Utilise custom-made postural supportive equipment to support patient needs.
• Conduct in-depth environmental and functional assessments and formulate actionable plans.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
• Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably within an NHS setting.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience within a wheelchair service is essential for delivering specialised care.
