Newly Qualified Plumbing Engineer - Reading

Salary: Up to £30,550 (includes location allowance) plus a £3,000 signing bonus!

About The Role

We are seeking a Newly Qualified Plumbing Engineer to join our team in Reading. This full-time position involves a 40-hour workweek, including some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

About You

Requirements:

  • A full UK Driving Licence (fewer than 6 penalty points)
  • Some hands-on experience in domestic plumbing
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Training Program:

  • Health & Safety training with SEC
  • Weeks 3-14: Buddying and shadowing a Senior Engineer, learning processes and best practices, with 8 hours of coaching per week
  • Weeks 15-18: Supervised practical work focusing on technical skills, customer service, and process compliance, with ongoing coaching
  • Week 27 onwards: Business as usual with performance monitoring and continued support
