Newly Qualified Accountant - Aviation Advisory

We are currently working with a growing advisory firm that is looking to add a newly qualified accountant to their expanding team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant who is looking to move beyond a traditional financial accounting role and gain broad commercial exposure across finance, accounting, pricing and lease management.

Working closely with a range of clients and internal teams, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of areas within the aircraft leasing industry, while developing a strong understanding of the wider financial and commercial aspects of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reporting


• Supporting the preparation of annual statutory financial statements


• Assisting with technical accounting matters and reviews under IFRS and US GAAP


• Financial analysis and preparation of management information


• Supporting pricing activities and commercial analysis


• Exposure to lease management and related accounting requirements


• Working with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality advisory solutions


• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and best-practice standards


• Contributing to process improvements and broader projects as the team continues to grow

Key Requirements:

• Strong financial accounting and analytical skills


• Good understanding of IFRS; exposure to US GAAP would be advantageous


• Competent user of accounting and financial systems


• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


• Commercially minded, proactive and keen to develop within an advisory environment


• A genuine interest in gaining exposure across multiple areas of finance rather than specialising immediately in one function
