Job Description:

Newly Chartered Building Surveyor required for a consultancy based in London

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per year

Role Purpose

Following the completion of a number of years working as a graduate surveyor, you will work under the direction of the Project Lead, assisting in the delivery of projects of varying scale and complexity.

Requirements

• Building Surveying degree or similar
• Professionally registered with CIAT, RICS, or similar
• Approximately 1 year post-qualification experience within a UK-based construction company, with a record in Health & Safety
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Revit (BIM author requirements elsewhere)

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on budget and schedule
• Advise clients on schemes and projects, determine requirements
• Prepare scheme designs, costings, schedules, and specifications
• Organise tender documents and advise on contractor and designer selection, procurement routes
• Assess existing building conditions, identify defects, and propose repairs
• Advise on energy efficiency, environmental impact, and sustainable construction
