About the Role

We're looking for a driven New Business Lead to grow our Marketplace by sourcing, onboarding, and supporting new sellers. You'll identify high-potential partners, guide them through onboarding, and ensure they're set up for long-term success. Reporting to the Marketplace Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding our product offering and enhancing customer experience.



Key Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit sellers in priority categories

  • Develop acquisition strategies and manage the full sales cycle

  • Conduct market analysis to spot trends and opportunities

  • Vet sellers for compliance and quality standards

  • Support sellers through onboarding and initial launch

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth integration

  • Represent the business at trade shows and webinars

  • Track KPIs and produce performance reports

  • Deliver training and manage seller enquiries via Zendesk

  • Lead and mentor team members to drive results



What We're Looking For

  • 3-5+ years in business development, sales, or partner acquisition

  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

  • Experience with marketplaces and seller onboarding preferred

  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, graphs)

  • Organised, proactive, and collaborative team player

  • Degree preferred but not essential
